Jesse Arora

Jesse oversees all business operations and functions for the direct service, non-profit, and daycare business models under ASSIST Programs. Jesse works with his esteemed Vice Presidents and Directors to fulfill the mission & vision of Assist Programs across the state of California and serve students in need.

Jesse worked in education for the last ten years through various education service companies that he has founded. Before this, Jesse has always had an entrepreneurial background,  partnering in food service, farm service, retail, and other industries until he found his true  passion in education.

Jesse resides in Sacramento, CA with his wife Marisa and children Anthony and Zara. Throughout his adult life, he has enjoyed outdoor sports, including football, soccer, and  motorsport racing. His passion from business comes from his want to create 1000 livable wage  jobs across California.

Denis Delic

Denis oversees and supports all programmatic functions within Assist Programs, working closely with his teammates to continuously improve the services we provide to our students, school sites, and families. With a steadfast commitment to offering safe, engaging, and inclusive programs throughout California, he takes pride in ensuring Assist stands true to its trademark: “An Educator’s Best First Job.”

Denis’s journey with Assist began 8 years ago after high school. This formative experience taught him invaluable lessons that he passionately shares across the company. He believes in the ripple effect; understanding that the impact of the program isn’t confined to the students he personally interacts with, but extends through the expansive reach facilitated by our dedicated staff.

Off-duty, Denis resides in Sacramento, CA alongside his partner Anh and their two cherished cats, Chicken and Bunny. His continuous personal pursuit of knowledge finds him enthralled with golf, chess, culinary experiments, and the latest in technology.

Nate McKinnis is the Vice President of Operations at Assist. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day functions, ensuring that programming runs smoothly. He is committed to providing quality  services, and continuous development of his team.

Nate is an alumnus of Sacramento State, holding a B.A. degree in Business Administration. He resides in Elk Grove with his family and pets. With seven years of dedicated service at Assist, Nate discovered his passion for mentorship and is committed to making a lasting impact on his community.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Nate finds joy in spending time outdoors and staying active through various sports.

Sam Rubin

Sam oversees all accounting department functions and offers operational support where needed. He graduated from California State University, San Marcos in 2020 and moved to Sacramento to be closer to his now wife. There, Sam worked in the package delivery industry management until he found Assist. His passion for helping students stems from his own family experience, as one of the oldest kids of seven siblings.

Madison Willis, SHRM-CP, is the Vice President of Human Resources at Assist, overseeing all human resource operations within the company. In her role, she focuses on maintaining high staffing standards to ensure unparalleled service to the students we influence. While maintaining a commitment to exceptional service, Madison ensures the human resources team is committed to prioritizing enhancement to the employee experience ensuring the continual wellbeing of our valued staff.

Prior to joining the team at Assist, Madison garnered experience in a spectrum of roles, primarily in the construction and manufacturing realm. With a background in environmental health & safety, training & development, and engineering, she seamlessly aligns with the organization’s dynamic demands, offering support beyond conventional human resources functions.

Madison resides in Elk Grove alongside her family and beloved dogs. She has an affinity to the outdoors and deep passion for animals. With a passion for learning, she frequently spends time learning new musical instruments, languages, and exploring various artistic avenues.

His journey has encompassed teaching, training, managing, and leading diverse teams, all with a relentless focus on achieving exceptional outcomes.

Kevin’s career is driven by a profound passion for education and child development. Throughout his professional journey, he has had the privilege of working with children aged 6 months to 16 years, guiding them through their educational and personal development, and working with families as an advocate and ally in the community.

At Assist Programs, Kevin is committed to creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and exceptionally fun world-class learning environment for all the students in our programs. It’s not just about education; it’s about nurturing their individual potential and setting them on a path to success. Additionally, Kevin is deeply dedicated to our role as a genuine partner in education throughout the Greater Sacramento region.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Kevin cherishes his time with rock-star/middle school teacher wife, Kim, loves attending concerts and catching the latest movies, and practicing his Kermit the Frog impression.

She takes pride in supporting her team’s success in making a positive impact on students’ lives.

Before joining Assist, Celeste earned her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, and decided to settle in the Sacramento area. On a personal note, Celeste enjoys cooking, playing video games, and spending quality time with her two cats, Sterling and Mizu, and her husband, Sam.

Jade Yang

Jade Yang is a dedicated Office Coordinator who plays a pivotal role in the recruitment and onboarding of exceptional Coaches and Team Leads at Assist. A Sacramento native, Jade earned her Bachelor of  Arts degree from California State University, Sacramento in 2021, and she has developed a profound affection for Sacramento and the unique opportunities it provides.

Before joining Assist, Jade gained valuable experience in diverse roles, including serving as a Team Lead in an After School program. This experience equipped her with a firsthand understanding of the  demands of educating children and advocating for youth. Jade’s passion for education and her
commitment to nurturing the next generation of educators were ignited during her time in the After School program, and she aspires to continue down this path to contribute positively to her community and the future of education.
